Music Video Casting Call

Nothing Else Matters like being in a Metallica music video! If you love the classic band, there is an incredible new casting call for you! Auditions for multiple roles in the upcoming music video have been released. Casting directors are now casting Bay Area models and actors. If you have always wanted to be in a music video or just want to work with your favorite band, here is your chance!

About Metallica

Metallica, one of the biggest selling acts in American history, were born on October 28, 1981 when drummer Lars Ulrich and guitar player/singer James Hetfield got together via Ulrich’s LA Recycler newspaper ad. Soon, the two had recruited Hetfield’s friend and housemate Ron McGovney to play bass, Dave Mustaine to play lead guitar, and taken the name Metallica after a suggestion from Bay Area metal scene friend Ron Quintana. Their ascent was to be relatively quick, driven by sheer work-rate, effort and a rare musical chemistry. After hitting the opener’s circuit in LA (where they supported the likes of Saxon) they recorded their first ever demo No Life ‘Til Leather. The tape-trading circuit went crazy for it, and after repeatedly well-received shows in the Bay Area, Metallica found themselves relocating there after convincing bassist Cliff Burton to leave his band Trauma and replace McGovney. What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are going to be doing some filming in the Bay Area next week and are looking for some of you to be a part of it! Please review the three Casting Calls below and, if you’re available, send the required info in to be considered for the video shoot!

Casting Call #1

Shoot Date: October 11 – 12 (one day)
Shoot Locations: Marin County, Downtown San Francisco

Casting multiple roles of all ethnicities. Must be able to engage in lightly choreographed fighting.

Age Range: 21 – 55
