About the Movie

The reality show “90 Day Fiance” offers a unique look into the world of international dating and matrimony.  Using a unique 90-day fiance visa, the K-1 visa, four women and two men will travel to the U.S. to live with their overseas partners for the first time. The couples must marry before their visas expire in 90 days, or the visiting partner will have to return home. They’ll have to overcome language barriers, culture shock and skeptical friends and family — all with a clock that starts ticking the moment they step foot on U.S. soil.  The stakes are incredibly high as these couples are forced to make a life-altering decision: get married or send their international mate home.

About ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’

The first book of this series, written by Daniel Handler, became popular soon after its publication. The author went on to write twelve more books in the series.  After its commercial success and critical acclaim, Paramount Pictures created a movie in 2004 based off the book starring Emily Browning, Meryl Steep, Jim Carey and Jude Law.

The books have sold over 65 million copies around the world.  Now, the Paramount Pictures and Netflix are bringing these characters on the small screen for the upcoming TV Series ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’.

This series will be executive produced by Barry Sonnenfield and Daniel Handler, the writer of the novel. The story features three orphans; Sunny, Klaus, and Violet Baudelaire.  After their parents pass away, they are sent to live with the evil Count Olaf who puts them in his custody to steal their inheritance.  The three orphans try their hardest to uncover the mysteries of their parent’s death by outwitting Count Olaf at every step.

Broad Green Pictures to Develop Orphan Train

Broad Green Pictures is currently developing a feature film based on the bestselling novel, Orphan Train, written Christina Baker Kline. Orphan Train was published in 2013 and has sold more than two million copies in 35 countries.

Kline’s novel takes its name from the rains that regularly traveled from cities in the East Coast to the Midwest between 1854 and 1929 which carried thousands of abandoned children whose fates would be determined upon their arrival.  Orphan Train is set in modern day Maine, and tells the intricate tale of two lives. Kline’s novel tells the stories of a 91-year-old Irish immigrant Vivian Daly, who was shipped from New York to Minnesota on the orphan train as a child and a 17-year-old Molly Ayer, who is on the brink of aging out of the foster care system. The two develop a very unlikely friendship when Molly is assigned the task of helping the older woman clean out her cluttered attic as part of her community service.

Michael London and Janice Williams of Groundswell Productions will produce the feature film. London is best known for his work on The Illusionist, Milk, and The Astronaut Wives Club. Williams is best known for her work on Trumbo and The Astronaut Wives Club. Christopher Monger will write the script for this upcoming feature film. Monger is best known for his work on Temple Grandin and Liz & Dick.

WWE New Project NXT Kids

WWE is creating a new NXT Kids Show, giving young fans a chance to become a part of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Family.

WWE has kept mum about the shows concept thus far, but has released a casting call giving us a little insight on what they may be planning for their new show. A portion of the show will feature talented kids doing on-air interviews and commentary work with NXT Superstars.  The kids will also serve as announcers and in some cases presenters for NXT.

It has been speculated that NXT Kids would be the launching pad for Bayley Superfan Izzy, who has become the inspiration for the show with her quirky personality and the ability to interact superbly with NXT Stars. The WWE hopes to foster more mega-fans like Izzy, who interacts so well with NXT Stars with her unrestrained personality and emotion. But the top billing spot is not set in stone so it could mean that there is a tiny superfan out there who could possibly hold the honor for the new half-hour show.

Game Show Network’s hit game show IDIOTEST, as seen on Ellen and the Today Show, is NOW CASTING another exciting season!

IDIOTEST is hosted by Ben Gleib and is a competitive game show that features teams of two competing to answer brain teasers and puzzle questions with the winning team advancing to a bonus round for the opportunity to win $10, 000.

The hit game show takes the teams of two through three rounds of brain teasers and mind-boggling puzzles. In the first round of the game the two teams face 2 sets of questions with each question valuing $300 and a deduction of $20 per second the team takes to answer the questions. The deductions ceases when the team places an answer into their touch screen. The team then has the opportunity to win the remaining balance if the question is answered correctly. In the second round the teams face one question and cannot confer with each other in order to answer the question. The team with the most money wins the game and is given the opportunity to play the bonus round for $10,000.

Already responsible for some of the most successful horror franchises of the past decade including Saw and Insidious, James Wan broke out this spring with the billion dollar (and growing) grossing auto action extravaganza Furious Seven and now for his next film he will be heading back to his chilling horror roots. The Conjuring 2 will be rolling in front of cameras soon and online submissions from up and coming actors for incredible roles in the next chapter of this hit horror series are being accepted today. in their North London home in the late 1970’s. Mr. Wan will be directing as well as producing alongside Peter Safran (Scary Movie, Annabelle, ATM) and Rob Cowan (The Crazies, San Andreas, Chernobyl Diaries). The film will feature a script by the original The Conjuring duo of Carey and Chad Hayes with rewrites by David Johnson (The Walking Dead).
