Casting Call for Host – Nationwide

Have you always dreamed of being a host? Do you want to follow in the footsteps Ty Pennington? A popular Home Improvement brand is searching for you! A new online segment is looking for a male host. The 2018 host casting call is looking for men ages 26 through 40. Actors must be able to shoot in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Filming will be from March 26th through March 30th. A wardrobe fitting is set for March 23rd. The selected individual will also be needed for addition voice recording! This is a spectacular opportunity because if you live outside of the area, travel will be provided. For this project, only those who have professional knowledge with home improvement are being considered. The paid acting job will be compensating $10,000.00! About the Project

A new online segment for a popular Home Improvement Brand is filming a new online segment. It pays $10,000 and will film in Pittsburgh. Rugged Handyman’s from around the United States are being considered.

What They Are Looking For

HOST – /Principal / Male / 26 – 40

Male between the ages of 26-40 years old needed
NO ONE ABOVE THE AGE OF 40 OR BELOW 26. Relatable to Millenials. EXPERT HANDYMAN. EXTREMELY Knowledgeable in home renovations. Authentic, Likable, rugged. Able to memorize script but also able to improvise with real DIY renovation or repair tips.

He looks like a man’s man… short beard or scruff is ok but a long beard will have to be willing to trim. strong hands, great smile, but NOT a model or too clean-cut

He is a down-to-earth DIY-er who has experience with outdoor projects

Experience with carpentry, general contracting, deck building or wood-working also a plus, but not mandatory

Must be comfortable operating common power tools such as drills, circular saws, reciprocating saws, belt sanders,jig saws, etc.

He is comfortable offering advice to fellow DIY-ers in a way that is friendly and approachable, but not stand-offish. He’s someone you turn to for expert advice.

Must be available to shoot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from March 26th-March 30th with a wardrobe fitting on March 23rd. Additional Voiceover recording date is to be determined. LOCAL TALENT MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION. Hotel will be provided for talent who live further than 100 miles outside of Pittsburgh and either gas or flights will be available as well, depending on location.

Must be able to memorize scripted lines but also able to ad lib/improvise with real tips.
