The History Channel television series “Vikings” is heading into season 6. An open casting call is being held in Dublin for extras. The team is looking for some very specific men and women to help bring the show to life. The TV show audition is looking for Tibetan, Nepalese, Mongolian, Balinese, Myanmar & Burmese ethnic groups as well as those from Indigenous Central & South America and central Asian countries. 2018 auditions for “Vikings” are being held on Saturday, October 6th. Into the Badlands – AMC Casting Call in Ireland

AMC has picked up their martial arts series “Into the Badlands” for a second season so casting directors are now hiring extras for the show! Game of Thrones Casting Call

Want to be background actor on “Game of Thrones”? We have the info on how you can be considered for the show! The finale of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, left us with a lot to look forward to. GOT fans around the world are waiting with anticipation on what is to come for the Golden Globe Award winning show. In the meantime, pre-production reports have stated that GOT will begin filming the new season next month in Northern Ireland.

About “Game of Thrones”

At the end of the last season a lot went down! Jon Snow and Sansa Stark took back Winterfell after a mind blowing battle with a little help from Little Finger and the tree folk. Then Snow was deemed the new King of the North (and we found out he is both a Stark and Targaryen). Ramsey Bolton got thrown to the dogs… literally. Cersei used her wild fire power to take out many of her enemies including Queen Margaery. King Tommen walked out the window and plunged to his death after witnessing what his mother had done to his wife and the High Sparrow, effectively make Cersei queen yet again. Daenerys’s joined forces with the powerful women of the Greyjoys, the Tyrells, and Dorne and set sail for Westeros. And Bran has finally become the new three eyed raven. Season 7 is sure to be a good one and we can’t wait to see what is next in the Game of Thrones.

What They Are Looking For

Casting directors are now accepting submissions for background actors for several shows, including Game of Thrones. The team cannot release their specific production dates or roles as the series is confidential and of course so popular, however, those who are registered with the Casting Company will be contacted for the show if the casting team thinks you are a good fit for any of the roles. They do accept submissions from both kids and adults. Anyone who applies, must be local to the Northern Ireland area (sorry but that is where filming takes place)

All background roles are paid. You’ll get paid, by Extras NI, within 6 to 8 weeks of your shoot day. To cover their costs, they take £25 off your first booking each year, and between 15-20% of your fee, depending on what the fee is.

The application will take about ten minutes to fill out. You will need to have your national insurance number, clothing measurements, a digital photograph and passport or birth certificate and drivers license. It will take about a week for your account to be approved and as soon as it is, you will be eligible for extra work.

Casting Call for Kids & Teens for History’s Vikings in Ireland

The History Channel’s hit series Vikings recently held open calls for adult actors, now they have released the information for kids to appear on the show! Casting directors are accepting submissions for kids and teens who are under the age of 16 years old by mail.

About Vikings

The History original series Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel), a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore and raid the distant shores across the ocean. In the first season, his ambition puts him at odds with local chieftain Earl Haraldson, who insists on sending his raiders to the impoverished east rather than the uncharted west. When Ragnar teams up with his boat builder friend Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) to craft a new generation of intrepid ships capable of conquering the rough northern seas, the stage is set for conflict.

Open Call Auditions for Men & Women 16+ for Vikings in Ireland

The History series, “Vikings” is getting ready to begin filming their fifth season and casting directors are holding auditions for many extra roles to appear in the series. They are looking for men and women of all ethnicities who are ages 16 years old and up. Auditions are being held in Ireland over three days. The show stars Travis Fimmel (Tarzan) and Gustaf Skarsgard.

In terms of specific skills or appearances they are after Fishermen, Carpenters, Craftspeople, Farmworkers, Axe Men/Women, Skilled swords people, M&F Archers, Bowmen & Women, M&F Rowers, M&F Sailors, Ship hands & Deckhands, Calligraphers, Latin Speakers, Arab Speakers, Musicians, Midwives, Nurses, Animal Handlers, Hunters, Blacksmiths, Lumber Jacks, Tree Surgeons, Whittlers, Males with long hair and Beards, All Sporty types, Martial Artists, Boxers, No visible tattoos, Women with naturally coloured hair, all men prepared to grow hair and beards, Men and women with punk style haircuts. This is far from a definitive list but it gives you an idea of how broad our search is so have a think beforehand and bring as much information about yourself as you can

You need to be a full time resident and living in Ireland with a working visa and PPS number .
They will be filming mostly in the Dublin and Wicklow areas and when we call for work/fittings, notice can sometimes be very short so availability should be good.

You DO NOT need an appointment and you only need to attend one of the audition dates. You will be asked to fill out an application form, which we will give you upon arrival. Casting reps will take a photo of each person when there. Please only attend if you wish to apply, time is limited and we want to give everyone genuinely wishing to apply a chance. You will be asked to leave if you are just hanging out with friends. The process will only take about 20 mins

They will not call anyone from outside of Ireland so please do not travel to the open casting if you if you do not fit the criteria.

Please know and bring along all your measurements e.g. your Height, Chest, Dress, Shoe sizes etc. as you will be asked to put these all on the application form. You do not need to bring an additional CV or Headshots along, but that will be accepted.

If you arrive late to the open casting we cannot permit entry as we have only hired the venues out for a set amount of hours and need to vacate the premises at said times
