Amazon is giving kids and adults the chance to be on TV! An adult and kids casting call is available for their upcoming series “Electric Dreams”. Producers are gearing up to shoot the episode ‘Safe & Sound’. Casting directors are looking for adult and child models and actors. They are searching for boys and girls ages 6 to 8 and women ages 35-45. They are open to applicants of all ethnicities. These are non-union featured extra roles. Filming will take place in Chicago, Illinois. A fitting will be held on Thursday, June 8th and shooting will be on Thursday, June 25th. All applicants must be available for both dates. The pay rate for selected talent is $150.00 for 8 hours of filming. The fitting will pay $25.00 for two hours. If you or your child would be perfect for these roles, sign up for the audition notice.

About Electric Dreams

The show, based on short stories by the award-winning novelist, was originally commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK in May. Each episode of Electric Dreams will be a stand-alone based on Dick’s shorts stories as adapted by a writers room made up of British and American writers. [Deadline]

What They Are Looking For

Looking for people who can play the following:

WIFE:
Female, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 35-45, Attractive.
We are looking for someone to play one of the actor’s wife in a scene. This is a non-speaking featured extra role – you MUST have a professional acting resume and/or acting classes/training. Please attach an acting resume in your submission.

KID:
Boy/Girl, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 6-8. If selected, your child will play the actor’s kid in the scene, so acting experience is a plus! You MUST have a current IL work permit through 4 Star Casting or a local talent agency. You MUST attach a photo of your child’s work permit.

IMPORTANT NOTE – We will reach out to you separately regarding wardrobe fittings. Please only submit if you are a size 42 Jacket, 38 waist or smaller for Males, and smaller than size 12 for Females. Due to costume inventory, we can only fit these sizes and smaller!

How to Apply

1) Please put in the role(s) you are submitting for in the subject line i.e. WIFE or KID

2) In the submission email include: name, age range, height, weight, city and zip, phone and email

3) Attach close-up candid photo AND a full body in JPEG format. Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses against a neutral background.
No glamour shots! We just want to see real looking/good character people.
*NOTE: Rename the title of your photos with your Full Name. You should do this with all your submission photos.
The director is being very specific that he wants to see photos of your current look, i.e. if you have photos with multiple different hairstyles, only send the photos that reflect your current hairstyle.

5) Attach a professional headshot and professional acting resume

6) Do you have any tattoos? If so, please give a brief description including size and location.

7) Please confirm your mode of transportation – there are potentially locations outside of the city, and you must have your own transportation.
