TV Show Extras Casting Call – NYC

While we will have to wait until 2018 to watch the season 8 of Game of Thrones, HBO is bringing us a new season of The Deuce! The James Franco television show is now filming season 2. A TV show casting call in 2018 is looking for extras! Filming is taking place in New York City. Casting directors are looking for men and women to portray adult film star award ceremony guests. Women of all ethnicities ages 20 through 45 and Caucasian men ages 30 through 65 are needed. The shoot will be on Tuesday, April 17th and Wednesday, April 18th. Costume fittings will be held in Queens sometime before filming. Because it takes place in the 1970’s, anyone who applies must be able to pull off the look. About The Deuce

The show follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic and the renewed real estate market ended the bawdy turbulence of the area. The series is partly inspired by the career of twin brothers, Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino. [Variety]

What They Are Looking For

Grant Wilfley casting is seeking non union to portray adult film star award ceremony guests (to portray adult film star actors, producers, directors, etc.) for HBO’s The Deuce Season 2.

Shoot Date: Tuesday 4/17 & Wednesday 4/18
Fitting: TBD some time before shoot. Costume fittings in Queens, NY.
You should have full day/night availability for the shoot date and be able to make an EARLY AM call time if necessary!

Non-Union rate: $143/10hrs

Specifically looking for the following:
Women: ages 20-45, all ethnicities
Men: ages 30-65 Caucasian

Must be 18 or older to work.
Everyone must have valid, unexpired, unrestricted ID to work.
Everyone should be local to the NY area!

Please note:
NO visible tattoos
*Men should have some length to their hair! No very modern haircuts, buzzcuts, fades, temple tapers, etc.
*Women: should have hair appropriate for 1977- no braids, dreadlocks, modern cuts, etc. No ombre, no overly done highlights. Hair should be slightly below shoulder length or shorter
Everyone must be comfortable working around atmospheric smoke.
