There is a new reality, comedy sitcom that is coming to NBC and you have a chance to be in it! A new NBC audition has been released.  The major network is seeking comedic duos for the new series. Casting directors are looking for two people who can banter and commentate on our country’s top current headlines. They need at least one person who is funny and one who can act as the soundboard.

About NBC’s Show

The exact details of the new series is under wraps, however this is a primetime series. This is an incredible opportunity as these roles are to be series regulars! The filming will be locally in North Carolina. The show is casting the duo who have great personal opinions that are not filled and that will be speaking on our nations headlines.

What They Are Looking For

Major network is looking for a comedic duo (or at least one who is funny and one who can be the soundboard) who are able to commentate and banter on our nation’s top headlines.

We would like non-filtered opinions from people of all ages who have chemistry (best friends, married couples, multigenerational – mother &daughter, father & son, senior couples, co-workers, boss & employee) all who can talk about politics and entertainment news.

We are looking for people who have a natural ability to be funny. They need to be charismatic and be able to “hold” a primetime series. This is for a series regular on a major network. We would shoot locally.

Nickelodeon now known as just Nick, is the go to cable network for kids and teens. With popular shows like Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Make It Pop, Bella and the Bulldogs, Henry Danger and The Thundermans, Nick has quickly become the top teen show network. Casting directors haven’t released the name of the Nickelodeon show they are casting extras for but it’s sure to be a great one.

What They Are Looking For

Casting directors from Central Casting are looking for Men & Women that are in their 20’s to 50’s with their own Renaissance faire attire. They are looking for talent who are local to Los Angeles as the show will be filming in Burbank, California.

The series will be shooting on Thursday, June 30th and Friday, July 1st. All background actors must be non-union and available for both days. These are all paying roles.

What They Are Looking For

Filming is set to take place on Wednesday, May 25th. All applicants must be Atlanta locals. These are paid roles.

2 Joggers: Experience a plus but not required. Males and Females 21-35. You will be jogging in the scene, please have work out clothing and the physical ability to work the scene.

1 featured Couple: You can submit as a couple or individually. Male and Female 20’s-30’s. If not in a couple, no worries we will match you.

1 Priest- Caucasian male 40’s +, clean cut and pious.

Quita’s friends- African American street looks only, ages 18 and up. If you have a car that is a year 2005 or OLDER we want a snap of that car and we will give 5 special people a raise in the form of an auto bump.

Servers: Professional experience a plus but not required. 21-35 year old males and female. If you have worked with us as a server before please note that in the submission.

Auditions for Male & Female Teens for Recurring Roles Filming in Toronto

That’s right! Here is your chance to be apart of the iconic show. “Degrassi: Next Class” is searching for a male and female actor for recurring roles on the show. They are shooting their second season of this Degrassi series. The show is now in it’s 5th series of the show that was created in 1979.

About ‘Degrassi: Next Class’

“Degrassi Next Class follows the lives of the students from Degrassi Community School, a fictional high school in Toronto. It is the 5th series in the Degrassi franchise and the first two seasons have been filmed. It will tell the stories of a new generation of students as they navigate their way through high school dealing with real life issues and situations that teenagers actually go through such as Cyber Bullying, Mental illness, Homophobia, racism, drug use, feminism, sexuality, religion, life threatening diseases, online harassment, catfishing and dysfunctional families. It will target the teen cohort today known as Generation Z.” IMDB. The show stars Nikki Gould, Ricardo Hoyos and Andre Kim.

Casting Call For Male and Female Teens

Rasha (15, Open Ethnicity) – FEMALE. Quick-witted and sarcastic, Rasha comes to Degrassi, having relocated from the Middle East, ready to take on any and every high school experience. From crushes, to cameos in the school play, this star track and field athlete is constantly pushing boundaries and willing to try anything once (must be willing to cut hair short).

Saad (16, Open Ethnicity) – MALE. Brooding and intense, Saad keeps his distance from the crowds of bubbly, babbling teens in Degrassi’s halls. To some, his self-imposed isolation reads as anger, and no one would blame him- – he came to Canada and left his childhood home in the Middle East behind. Truly, though, he’s just a thoughtful, artistic kid, struggling to find his place in his new country.

Anyone submitting for these roles must be a CANADIAN CITIZEN and be able to work as a Toronto local between May-August of 2016. If you have already appeared on Degrassi, you cannot audition.

Cedric the Entertainer In Soul Man

The Smart One - ABC
