About Water, Inc

Water is the new oil and in the not-too-distant future, a single farm in New York State sits atop the last clean, freshwater aquifer in North America. Tell us things like how long they’ve been singing and dancing, any instruments they play, if they write music, rap, break dance, have won awards, have any hobbies, play sports, anything unique or special about them or that they can do, etc.

3.) Sing a one-minute (1st verse and chorus) song of their choice a cappella.
*This means there should be no music or noise in the background at all, just singing.*
Please choose a modern pop song that showcases a wide vocal range. NO Broadway songs or rap songs.

4.) Sing one-minute (1st verse and chorus) of one of the following songs that fits their vocal range:
“Send My Love” originally by Adele
“24k Magic” originally by Bruno Mars

5.) Perform the one-minute choreographed dance routine that is taught by our KIDZ BOP choreographer. Please use KIDZ BOP versions of any songs used. Learn the routine HERE.

NBC is holding 2017 auditions for “The Voice” season 13. Open casting calls are being held and video submissions are being accepted. Teen and adult singers have the opportunity to showcase their vocal skills to see if they have what it takes to land a spot. ADULT SINGERS
Seeking strong ADULT (18+) male and female singers who move very well to be in the ensemble and to cover or replace lead roles. Please prepare your best 16 bars (approximately 30 seconds – with sheet music) of a R&B, pop, or rock-and-roll song that best showcases your voice and range.
Please do not sing material from THE LION KING or standard Broadway theater music. A pianist will be provided.

CHILDREN
Seeking children ages 9-12, between 52″ – 58″ in height, who can sing, dance and act to play the African lion cubs Simba and Nala. We encourage children of all backgrounds to attend. No performance experience necessary. Be prepared to be taught the last verse of “Just Can’t Wait to be King.”

Teen & Adult Theatre Audition

Theatre auditions for actors are being held for a new musical production. “Junie B. Jones” the musical is in need of teen and adult actors. The casting call is searching for seven female actors and four male actors ages 14 to 17. Casting directors are also seeking a man and woman ages 25 and up. Performances will be held at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster, Maryland. Auditions are being held on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th. Rehearsals will be in June through early July with performances taking place in mid-July. If you have always wanted to star in a play, here is your chance!

About the Show

It’s Junie B.’s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie’s friend, Lucille, doesn’t want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting.

What They Are Looking For

Roles available for 7 female actors and 4 male actors aged 14-17 (playing 6 years old), as well as 1 man and 1 woman aged 25+.
